Brandon – October Employee Of the Month

November 21, 2022

Brandon has always been interested in technology, but he was unsure if he wanted to pursue tech. Brandon’s fiancé gave him the idea to go back to school for a certificate in technology.

After a year at Southwest Tech, he obtained his certificate and now works at InfoWest.   “The rest is history!” Said Brandon.

Brandon started working at InfoWest on January 10, 2022, and was selected as our October 2022 employee of the month.

“The management team felt he consistently went above and beyond in his job duties. He stepped up every day and took on client issues. He looked at each call or email as an opportunity to learn and improve his skill set. He also took the time to share what he learned with the entire tech team to improve us as a whole.” Said Director of Support Operation, Jeff Ferrin.

When asked about his work ethic Brandon said, “I see things that need to be done, and I just do them. It’s nothing too complicated.”

“InfoWest appreciates Brandon’s humble mindset and the hard work he puts into the company to help make it a more efficient workplace,” said Jeff Ferrin.

Brandon is proud of his growth at InfoWest. “Being able to apply what I learned in school to my career is rewarding.

InfoWest is known for being a company built around people – The Internet People. Brandon shared his love for InfoWest’s company culture, which is the close-knit team that helps maintain a positive work environment.

“If you’re looking for a job in Utah whether tech, sales, billing, marketing, customer service, etc.. InfoWest would be a great first choice!” Said Brandon, when asked about working at the Utah-based company.

We appreciate all our 100+ hardworking employees, who like Brandon, keep our mission front and center “to provide the Ultimate Internet Experience, one customer at a time.” Congrats on being Employee Of the Month Brandon! Thanks for all you do and for helping provide the Ultimate Internet Experience to our customers!

Join InfoWest and Tell Congress NOT to Tax Your Internet

The House of Representatives Wants to Add a “Universal Service Fund” Fee (tax) to your Internet Bill (H.R 6723).
Most of these fees would be used to subsidize telephone companies to provide broadband service in rural areas. Would you be surprised to learn that many rural telecom providers “wholeheartedly” endorse this bill? InfoWest opposes taxes on internet services. We hope you will join us in fighting this bill.
