Jackson’s Journey with InfoWest

“It makes me proud of my hard work.”

Jackson is studying IT at Dixie Tech, when he is not working or in school, he loves music, video games, and “all things nerdy.” Jackson quickly fit into the InfoWest office and has quickly learned and become an expert in helping customers.

“One of the best things about working at InfoWest is the people. I’ve learned a lot from my coworkers from how our technology works, and what it’s like to work in a great office environment.”

Jackson started at InfoWest in November 2022. He was excited to learn new things and help customers have the Ultimate Internet Experience.

Jackson started as an intern through Dixie Tech but became a full-time employee in just a few months. He was even named Employee of the Month!

“It makes me proud of my hard work.”

When Jackson first started, he found it hard to talk to people. But at InfoWest, he learned how to communicate well in person and over the phone. Now, he can talk to anyone with confidence. It helped him in his job and also outside the office.

Jackson has always loved technology and has found the start of his career at InfoWest.

“When I was a little kid I would hook up my game console to the tv and I felt like a wizard now that I’m older the magic hasn’t died. Now I’m helping other people with getting them up and running and I still feel like a wizard working my magic.”

Thank you for all the hard work and congratulations on being named employee of the month.

Join InfoWest and Tell Congress NOT to Tax Your Internet

Join InfoWest and Tell Congress NOT to Tax Your Internet

The House of Representatives Wants to Add a “Universal Service Fund” Fee (tax) to your Internet Bill (H.R 6723).
Most of these fees would be used to subsidize telephone companies to provide broadband service in rural areas. Would you be surprised to learn that many rural telecom providers “wholeheartedly” endorse this bill? InfoWest opposes taxes on internet services. We hope you will join us in fighting this bill.
